yarn along ~ November 22, 2011

IMG_0521

On my needles is the Owlet by Kate Davies.  It really is cute, I am just not happy with my owls.  The stitches seem to loose to me.  I am hoping that after a washing it will look better?  I am using this divine cotton that I think I might be falling in love with.  It is Universal's Cotton Supreme.  It is sooooo soft!

As for reading, I decided that since I am now 30 weeks preggers, I better read the whole Large Family Logistics.  I only read bits of it when I first got it.  Now I am studying, getting ready for baby boy number 8!

Hmmm, all my pictures seem blurry lately... annoying.  Better figure that out, huh?

    The pattern is very pretty.

I finally was able to order this book from the library - I only have 6, but I think that still qualifies as 'large' LOL

  10. Pretty yarn. Have you tried cleaning the lens? I have only done it like once, but I guess you are supposed to do it a little more often to keep away fuzzy photos.

  12. I think the owls look great, but you're right, washing does often improve the look of knits! Hope you are happy with it in the end. :)

  13. The Owlet is looking lovely, I really want to cast one on. The yarn is a lovely colour too.
And loving the book title, although it's a bit late for me to be studying that one now that number 8 is already turned two!
Just roll with it and enjoy them all, the best advice there is.
