Oh my goodness. Doing this has been amazing. A huge part of me sits here and thinks, "This has been a whole year? It feels like the blink of an eye." It brings me so much joy to see my children grow (and me shrink) but also a bit sad. I know, crazy, isn't it? But it is going so fast, too fast. My oldest turned eighteen and the others are coming up fast behind her. Can I ever hug them enough? Kiss them enough? Read them enough stories? Do enough amazing things with them? No, I guess not. All I know is that they are all growing up and every year brings beautiful new things to discover in each one of them.
So thank you God for this incredible year. Thank you for 2012.
