Linking up with Ginny at Small things for the weekly yarn along and Nicole's KCCO!
I finally finished Rogue's Campfire Sweater!
This is the biggest item of clothing I have ever made and I am happy about it...
But you other crafters out there, do you do this? I keep seeing the little mistakes. I keep thinking, well it isn't perfect.
But the best things is, he thinks it is. He wouldn't take it off yesterday. Actually, I am kind of surprised he didn't sleep in it!
And that makes one happy mama.

WOW, that sweater is wonderful and look at his beaming smile - he is soo proud!
ReplyDeleteI do see my own little mistakes, but honestly your sweater looks perfect and mistake free!
Yes, I always think about the things I know are wrong, but thankfully, most others don't notice. The sweater looks great to me and obviously, he loves it!
ReplyDeleteThere was a shirt I made for Joseph when he was just over 12 months. I could see so many mistakes and when I pointed them out to a friend, she said she couldn't see them. I guess we are all our biggest critic.
ReplyDeleteHe's so handsome! I'm sure it's just that gorgeous sweater. :) I love everything about it.. the style, the patterning and that COLOR! Then again the eyes. They have nothing to do with the sweater, do they? I love both of your creations in the photo. :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Debbie

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful sweater - and charming little guy! Great job! (And yes, I am always apologizing to people about the mistakes only I can see in my finished garments!)
ReplyDeleteNice job on the boy sweater. Good boy's knits are sometimes hard to find!
ReplyDeleteLovely blog and lovely sweater!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the collar, the sweater I'm working on has a shawl collar too, though I am probably 2 or 3 years from getting to it :).
