I am not sure why this page has been so hard for me to write. As a blogger I spend a lot of time writing about myself and all the craziness that goes on around here. So why do I stare at this page, month after month, not sure where to start?
So here it goes...
Once upon a time there was a girl named Amy. She moved around a lot and saw many different things. Some good, some bad. She grew into a young woman and moved to the beautiful state of Oregon. She was blessed to meet the love of her life while she was still in high school. A cradle Catholic, Tony was the perfect match for her and so they married at 19, shortly after she became a Catholic.
These two young lovers got to travel the world and then settled once again in Oregon to raise their 9 children.
Amy and Tony decided over a decade ago to homeschool their children. It has been a bumpy ride at times, but truly the greatest blessing their family has ever received. She has now taught every grade at least twice.
Amy is a bit of a collector of hobbies. Reading, writing, knitting, crochet, cycling, and running are some of her favorites. She is forever on a quest to find a way to do them all at once.
After suffering from health problems in the last several years, Amy is finally getting control of her health again. Diet and exercising are some of the best methods she has found to bring about healing in her life.
On her blog she talks about all of it. About family, love, laughter, and of course lots and lots of yarn.
Whoosh. I still think this sucks. But there, I did it.
